Michael Schoerie is an organizational and management professional with over two decades of experience, his international experience includes work in Africa, UK, USA and Germany. His business background includes operations management in the fast-paced aviation industry, business ownership, large scale event planning, business consulting, turnaround management, leadership training, intercompany communication strategy, church management training and humanitarian work. Mr. Schoerie is an accomplished commercial pilot, having flown relief and cargo flights in Mozambique, Africa.
Michael Schoerie served as ‘Director for South Africa & USA’ at the Institute for Market Research (now Marcus Evans), one of the world’s largest corporate hospitality company, where he directed high level summits for Fortune 100 companies with an annual corporate revenue exceeding $500 million.
He is a true self-starter and leader able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. While accepting the position of Operations Director for The New Canaan Society, a humanitarian organization of influential business executives, Mr. Schoerie also Co-founder Top Talk, a leading communications program in the after school market place, which addresses the great lack, found in children today, to effectively present and communicate and is designed specifically for youth and children. The company is currently working in New York’s inner city and Fairfield county school system helping over 100 children develop their presentation and communication skills. Mr. Schoerie is presently providing consulting service to several companies in Connecticut and New York.
