Placed in an orphanage at the age of seven, and sentenced to the Texas State Penitentiary at the age of nineteen, James Ryle's life is a powerful and uplifting story of how God's grace can work all things together for good. James is one of the founding Board members of Promise Keepers, and has spoken at multiple PK stadium events around the country. On October 4, 1997 in the Nation’s Capitol, James delivered the Gospel message at Stand in the Gap ~ an event attended by over 1.4 million men, and broadcast to over 20 different nations around the world.

James and his wife, Belinda, have four grown children and currently live in Tennessee.
