Because NCS knows that it can’t be all things to all men, our community extends beyond NCS. We don’t try to provide everything men need. We are not a relief organization; we are not a counseling service; we are not a 12-step program; and we are definitely not a church. We are the place of opportunity – for friendships, interaction, involvement and commitment. We encourage and develop lots of partnerships with groups and organizations in order to provide support and service opportunities for NCS men. We want to connect NCS men to others who will help them in their journeys and provide outlets for their passions, ideas and visions. We don’t try to compete with or replace any of those other important resources or outlets. We want our members to benefit from ministries that can help them be the men God designed them to be, and we want them to be part of churches, charities and challenges because we are all enriched in the process.
- Support Organization Partners: We all hit walls and challenges in our lives (if you haven’t hit one yet, look around the next corner). Whether it is marriage difficulties, substance abuse, pornography addiction, career transition, health challenges or depression, there are local groups and organizations devoted to helping you in your journey.
- Service Organization Partners: Friendships evolve when you serve shoulder to shoulder. NCS encourages involvement with service organization partners that offer help to the poor, the oppressed and the disenfranchised – in local communities and around the globe. These activities permit NCS members to deepen their friendships by serving together. We take the skills and talents we honed in the marketplace and use them for effective Kingdom progress.
- Program and Product Partners: Sometimes we find programs, products and services offered by ministries or others that uniquely fit with the NCS mission and purpose. Partnering with the providers of these products and services can bring special benefits to NCS members.
